How to Subscribe
To subscribe to the Turtle Conservation Centre website, or any other websites for that matter, first you will have to understand what RSS is, and how it works. Following is a simple guide to help you understand the concept of RSS so that you can use it to your advantage :)
What is RSS feeds?
You may have read from all over the Internet that RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication. In simple terms, every website/blog publishes a feed, which is basically the content of that website/blog. And each time we publish a new blog post, our blog will generate a feed automatically. And this is the feed that you will be subscribe to.
Our feed URL is http://www.turtleconservationcentre.org/feed, but most feed readers will be able to automatically detect this whenever you are subscribing to the TCC website.
What are feed readers?
Feed readers are services (also known as aggregators) that pull feeds from all your subscribed websites/blogs so that you do not have to visit each and every one of them to check for new posts. You may go to bed tonight, and when you get up tomorrow, your feed reader would have pulled all new materials from the websites/blogs you are subscribed to, so that you can read blogs and eat breakfast at the same time :D
There are plenty of feed readers available, for example, you may have heard of Google Reader, Bloglines, NetVibes, Newsgator, and what have-yous.
Google Reader will be used to illustrate the following points.
How do I subscribe to the Turtle Conservation Centre website?

- Sign in to Google Reader. If you don't have an account, sign up for one.

- Click on the "Add a subscription" button.

- Paste www.turtleconservationcentre.org into the box, and click "Add".

- Congratulations! You are subscribed to the TCC website!
- Sign in to Google Reader. If you do not have an account, sign up for one (it’s free).
- Once you are logged in, click on the “ADD A SUBSCRIPTION” button on the top left corner of the page.
- Copy the Turtle Conservation Centre URL and paste it into the “ADD A SUBSCRIPTION” box. Click the “ADD” button.
- Hooray! You are subscribed to the TCC website!
What’s next?
Now that you are subscribed to the TCC website, the next time you log in to your Google Reader account, you will be notified of any new posts that we have posted on the website. Yes, it’s THAT simple :)
Is there an alternative way?
Yes! You may subscribe to the Turtle Conservation Centre via email. Simply type your email in the field below and you will receive an email from Feedburner. Click on the activation link in the email, and you are subscribed! You will receive an email each time we publish a new post.
