Our TCC Logo designed by Tan Yisin.
Talented Yisin working on the logo in my place yesterday afternoon.
After several weeks of discussion between myself, our artist Yisin and Pelf and many changes to earlier versions, we have finally decided on the logo for our Turtle Conservation Centre. The final version was selected after Yisin and I sat together in my place yesterday afternoon to work on it. And…here it is! The turtle depicts a river terrapin resting its front leg on the word “conservation” – a gentle reminder that turtles need help from us humans and we must not fail them!
A picture of Yisin who designed the logo, is posted here as well. She has been a dear help since our days at Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT) when she designed and did the artwork for the latest Turtle Research and Rehabilitation Group (TRRG) volunteer T-shirt. Note that the new project leader has reverted to the name “SEATRU” for the TRRG.
Yisin will be doing the artwork for a children’s story on turtles written by me. We hope to get it out in print soon!

We have since modified our logo by shading the shell. It now looks like this:

Now that we have a logo, we should start thinking about producing our own merchandise — T-shirts, caps, car stickers, LOL.
Absolutely Pelf :) Your expertise in webpaging is called upon again to place our logo in the headers for each page.
I will try putting it up at night, so that nobody comes to a messy website :) Because I know I will mess it up, LOL.

Yisin, did you notice in the header image that we have coloured the shell and modified the bottom part of the grey where the URL appears? Thank you again for all your help!!
